Ronald G. Yohe (pronounced "yo") was born and raised in Rockford, IL. His father, Howard M. Yohe, Grandfather (mother's side) O. L. Barker, and Great Grandfather (mother's side) George Auman - were all pastors in the United Brethren in Christ Church. They also attended or graduated from Huntington College, Huntington, IN. with various degrees. Huntington College was the four-year liberal arts college of the United Brethren Church. It is now - Huntington University.
Pastor Yohe also serviced in the United States Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX; Ramstein AFB, Germany; Bitburg AFB, Germany; and Nellis AFB. in Las Vegas, NV. He served as a weapons mechanic, special weapons specialist, and egress systems specialist (the system that ejects pilots from the cockpit). Most of his work was on the F-105 fighter/bomber aircraft.
It was while he was in Bitburg, Germany that he met his wife Janice. Her father was stationed on the same air base. After receiving an honorable discharge in February, 1965 he married Jan in Lincoln, NB at the First Assembly of God church, Pastor S.K. Biffle officiated. (Note: 23 inches of snow on the ground). Ron and Jan have a son, Jeff, who was not only born in Rockford, like his dad, he was also born in the same hospital - Swedish American Hospital.
Before becoming a pastor, Ron worked for the Burlington Railroad, Chrysler Corp. and Bell Telephone.
The two main churches that Ron has pastored are: Assembly of God Christian Center, St. Charles, IL. and Faith Chapel Church, Muscatine, IA. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Good News Community church, DesPlaines, IL (Tim Roames, pastor) and Victory Christian Center, Columbus Jct., IA. (Mike Mc Afee, pastor). Victory Christian Center is sponsored by Faith Chapel Church.
Pastor Yohe has also served five years as North Center Regional Superintendent for Kingsway Fellowship International. He has also been a Law Enforcement chaplain for eight years in St. Charles, IL. and eight years in Muscatine, IA.
Pastor Yohe has traveled in 23 nations of the world and most of the states in America. He has also been on radio and/or television for about 8 years.
Ron has started or helped start five churches and obviously has a strong interest in "church planting."
Pastor Yohe is dedicating the rest of his life to three major areas:
1. Discipleship - making sure people are really Christians, then training them to make disciples.
2. Financial Freedom - it begins with Breaking Out of Debt, and then learning to live debt free.
3. Marriage Matters - developing strong marriages and Christian families.
He has written a number of books, has an audio cassette tape of almost every sermon he has ever preached as well as many of the notes. Here are some of the books he has written or complied.

The most frequently asked question about our Pastor:
What nationality is your pastor?
We'll let him answer in his own words:
"I first started hearing the question about my nationality after I started being on radio. Almost all my life, I came with my name. In other words, most people never heard my name until they met me, so it wasn't an issue. While they still may have thought my name was strange or different they didn't have the problem people have who see my name before meeting me. What they really wonder is, "Is he Oriental?" They don't ask because they are prejudice but just curious. So here is the deal. Here is a quick overview of my family tree.
Generation #1 1804-1862 - Peter & Margaret Yeo
Generation #2 1838-1905 - Peter & Rachael Yeo
Generation #3 1886-1964 - John & Edith Yoe/Yohe
Generation #4 1913-1995 - Howard & Neoma Yohe
Generation #5 1940 - Present - Ronald & Janice Yohe
Generation #6 1968 - Present - Jeffrey & Karen Yohe
Generation #7 1995 - Present - Tanner Christian Yohe
"It was my grandfather John and three of his brothers (for what reason no body seems to know) changed the spelling from Yeo to Yohe and kept the pronunciation of 'Yo'.
There is some English (Britain), Irish, and German in there, but no Oriental or Spanish. Not that it matters, but now you know the rest of the story."
