Welcome to the Faith Chapel Church
Learning Center
Tragically enough, the things most people believe about God, Christ, Heaven and Hell: The Bible and the Christian Faith have been the result of "things" people have picked-up along the way from people who don't know any more about these subjects than they know. This is so tragic when one considers that there is so much authoritative material available where one could search for the truth by researching readily available facts.
We, at Faith Chapel are proud to be able to offer this area of our website to you which will give you a Quick Start Overview of the most basic and important facts about these subjects and it's all FREE.
The first section deals with the most basic of these facts. Since the entire Christian faith is based on the Bible, there are some things about the Bible that must be dealt with first. These three lessons make up the Introduction. This is followed by two other sections: Discipleship and finally, The School of Ministry.

The School of Ministry
- The School of Ministry is a two year - 3 terms per year program
- However, it can be done on the Internet at ones own pace
- It's professional and it's FREE
Since the Bible is the only book that Christians use for the beliefs that they hold, the most important question that must be answered is, "Can the Bible be trusted?" Even more important is, "Can I Trust the Bible?" Is there enough credible evidence for me to be able to put my faith and trust in what it says. We answer that question in this lesson: The Bible: Can I Trust it?
Now that you have answered the question dealing with whether or not you can trust the Bible, the next question becomes the question of understanding it. Maybe you have tried to read the Bible and it seemed confusing, or maybe you couldn't understand it because the "translation" used old, hard to understand words. In this lesson you will learn how and why the Bible is laid out the way it is and then we will give you an overview that will help put the pieces together in a way that makes sense. In step 2 we answer the question: The Bible: Can I Understand it?
The last subject we will deal with in the Introduction Section is the question of where the Bible came from. We hope this will finish off the questions about the Bible as we answer the question: The Bible: How Did We Get It?
If you don't know it already, I have a weird sense of humor. Something else you might not know is that there are some things concerning the Bible that, if not humorous, are at least rather interesting. Case in point: Most people that know anything about the Bible understand that the first book in the Bible is Genesis - the book of beginnings. The last book in the Bible is Revelation - which contains all kinds of prophecies about the end of the world as we know it. Here is the interesting part. If you read the entire Bible you will find things that happened before the beginning and things that will happen after the end, so we begin with: What happened before the beginning.
Having learned what happened "before the beginning" will better prepare you for what happened at the beginning. All of this is extremely important in order to have a working knowledge of what is to follow throughout the entire Bible, especially the New Testament. I have the firm belief that if one does not have a clear understanding of what was happening in the first three chapters of Genesis, there are significant sections of the New Testament that will not make sense the reader. Let's continue now with: Understanding Genesis chapters one through three - the beginning.
This section will give you a brief, yet thorough (if that is possible), overview of the Bible in chronological order so that you will be able to understand the big picture:
The Overview of the Bible.
